This week’s Recode code of ethics: “We are not in the business of hiding things”

The Recode Code of Ethics is here to keep your code of conduct from getting out of control.

Today we’re spotlighting a few things we found worth noting in today’s Recodes Code of Business Ethics.

1.

The code is clear: The Recoding Industry should be a collaborative community of coders, not a monolithic entity that only hires a few.

2.

The Code of ethics is about creating more open source software.

This week, we’re talking about the open source community.

In particular, we’ll be highlighting the following examples: the Open Source Alliance, the Open Platform, the Code of Conduct, and more.

The next Recode conference is taking place on June 30 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center.

We’ll be covering the topics covered at the conference, and if you’d like to learn more, head over to Recode’s website to find out more.

We look forward to hearing from you.
