Cardinals’ Darnell Dockett is an easy choice for No. 2 QB in NFL draft

The Arizona Cardinals announced on Thursday that they have selected Darnel Dockett in the first round of the NFL draft.

The 6-foot-2, 218-pound Dockett was rated as the No. 19 overall player by ESPN’s NFL Draft Scout and No. 22 player in the country by Rivals.com.

Dockett was a three-year starter at Fresno State, where he rushed for 1,923 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2017.

He was the Big West Offensive Player of the Year in 2017, and was named Big West Defensive Player of The Year as well.
